Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the electric characteristics of a circuit element or the like from getting adverse or to hardly made adverse the state of connection with the element and to provide the surface-mounting piezoelectric oscillator suitable for lowering the height.
CONSTITUTION: A pedestal is constituted by laminating and forming ceramics and required electrode wiring and electrode pads 21, 22 and 23 are formed. A recessed part is provided on the bottom of the pedestal and a further deeper part 25 is provided at the center of this recessed part. A crystal oscillation board 1 is mounted at the upper part of the pedestal, a cap 3 is joined to the pedestal with a glass member G, afterwards, an IC chip is housed in the deeper recessed part, and the electrode pad of the IC chip and the electrode pads of the pedestal are connected by a bonding wire. These recessed parts are filled with a resin material and the embedding processing of the IC chip or the like is performed.
