Title:
SURFACE-MOUNTING QUARTZ OSCILLATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3961379
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounting oscillator wherein the other end portion of a quartz crystal chip is lifted from an internal bottom surface of a surface-mounting substrate, electrical property, especially, phase noise property is made superior and further, shock resistant property is made superior.
SOLUTION: This surface-mounting oscillator is provided with a pair of quartz crystal terminals arranged on the internal bottom surface of the surface-mounting substrate; the quartz crystal chip wherein both sides of one end portion of a drawing electrode which is extended from a driven electrode are fixed to a pair of the quartz crystal terminals by using conductive adhesive; and a protrusion which is arranged on the surface-mounting substrate becoming one end portion side of the quartz crystal chip and lifts the other end of the quartz crystal chip by shrinkage force of the conductive adhesive, and whose thickness is greater than that of the quartz crystal terminals. The protrusion has an isolation part which is formed as isolated from a pair of the quartz crystal terminals. The conductive adhesive is used including the isolation part and an upper surface of the protrusion.
