Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the surface mounting type antenna to which a feeding terminal can easily be fixed a radiation electrode is excited in a noncontact manner via a capacitor and matching is easily taken with a small-sized configuration.
SOLUTION: A 1st ground electrode 2 is formed on one major side of a rectangular prism board 1, and a feeding electrode 4 and a 2nd ground electrode 5 are formed close to an open end of a strip-shaped radiation electrode 3 whose one end connects the ground, and whose other end is open and formed on the other major side. Thus, the coupling capacitor is easily adjusted, and matching is taken easily. Furthermore, the capacitance of the radiation electrode between the open end and ground is increased, the length of the radiation electrode is reduced, and the surface mounting type antenna is made small.
