To provide a high appearance molded object formed of a reinforced thermoplastic resin used in a product which is used in a bathroom, a lavatory, a toilet and a kitchen as a washstand counter, a kitchen counter, a bathtub, a hand-washing bowl, a toilet counter, a cabinet top plate, etc., having favorable appearance and excellent in mechanical strength, rigidity, surface hardness, dimensional stability, hydrolysis resistance and chemical resistance.
This surface-polished high appearance molded object has surface characteristics with a Barcol hardness of 30 or higher and is obtained from a thermoplastic resin composition composed of a reinforced thermoplastic resin, which is composed of 99.9-50 pts.wt. of a polytrimethylene terephthalate resin (A1) and 0-49.9 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin (A2), and 5-300 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler (C).
