Abstract:
PURPOSE: To carry out the control of the restoring thickness of a stuffing coming out of a feed conveyor in an apparatus which performs a needle punching processing on the surface layer of a fiber-made stuffing.
CONSTITUTION: A feed conveyor 2 is composed of upper and lower conveyor mechanisms 50, 50 in which the lower conveyor mechanism 50 is made to be vertically movable. At the position where the stuffing W held between the conveyor mechanisms 50, 50 comes out of the feed conveyor 2, the thickness of the stuffing is adjusted. By this-adjustment, the restoring thickness at a processed position is ultimately set at a desired level.
