To provide a surface protection film for a stain resistant film that protects a photocatalytic functional layer on the surface of a stain resistant film in various stages of processing, storing, and transportation, wherein it is easy to restore the function of the photocatalytic functional layer by UV irradiation after its peeling, and to provide an adhesive composition used for the film.

This surface protection film for a stain resistant film has an adhesive layer on the surface coming in contact with a stain resistant film. The adhesive layer is formed with an adhesive composition that comprises an acrylic copolymer (A) comprising not less than a specific amount of a carboxy group as a reactive functional group, and having a specific range of glass transition temperature (Tg), as well as a polyepoxide compound (B), as indispensable components.
