Title:
SURFACE PULSE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3159336
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify control and to facilitate machining of stator and mover by aligning the reference grid of stator with the reference coordinate of mover and matching the pitch of salient teeth between the stator and the mover.
CONSTITUTION: Salient teeth are provided at a pitch corresponding to the number of phases on an Xk axis shifted by (k) pitch py (k is an integer including 0) in the Y-axis direction from the original point thereof on the surface of a mover 1 with reference to a position shifted in the X-axis direction, while five salient poles are provided on the surface of a stator 2 oppositely to the surface of the mover 1 at same pitch as the salient teeth of the mover 1. Furthermore, an electromagnet for n-th phase (n is an integer larger than 4) is located at a position shifted by (5j+2)(n-1) reference pitches (j is an integer including 0) from an electromagnet for first phase in the X-axis direction.
