Abstract:
To provide surface reconstruction and registration with a Helmholtz reciprocal image pair.
A method of image reconstruction comprises: a step for obtaining a Helmholtz reciprocal pair of images corresponding to an object 30, the images comprising a first image and a corresponding reciprocal image; a step for determining an imaging geometrical arrangement associated with the obtaining of the Helmholtz reciprocal pair; a step for selecting candidate points for matching; and a step for matching a selected point in the reciprocal pair of the image to the candidate points.
