Abstract:

To provide a surface-treated metal having a film which reconciles the stability, weatherability and processability of a photocatalyst of a degree usable even with respect to a precoated metal, a manufacturing method for suitably manufacturing the surface-treated metal and a surface treatment liquid for suitably manufacturing the film.

The surface-treated metal comprises at least the film showing photocatalytic activity, and the film showing photocatalytic activity is an inorganic-organic composite film characterized in that the principal bond of a main skeleton is a siloxane bond and comprising at least one organic group selected from the group consisting of a 1-12C alkyl group, an aryl group, a carboxyl group, an amino group and a hydroxy group.
