Title:
SURFACE-TREATED STAINLESS STEEL SHEET HAVING SUPERIOR CORROSION RESISTANCE IN SALT-ATTACK ENVIRONMENT FOR USE IN AUTOMOTIVE FUEL TANK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007191775
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a surface-treated stainless steel sheet having superior corrosion resistance in a salt-attack environment for use in an automotive fuel tank.

The surface-treated stainless steel sheet having superior corrosion resistance in the salt-attack environment for use in the automotive fuel tank comprises: a base material of a ferritic stainless steel sheet which includes, by mass%, 10.0-25.0% Cr, has a mean r-value of 1.4 or more and has a total elongation of 30% or more, or an austenitic stainless steel sheet which includes 10.0-25.0% Cr, has a total elongation of 45% or more and has a work hardened rate of 400 N/mm2or less; a plating layer formed on the surface of the base material, in a coating weight of 5 g/m2to 80 g/m2, which includes 5-13% Si and the balance Al with unavoidable impurities, while controlling an alloy layer formed in between the plating layer and the base iron into a thickness of less than 5.0 μm; and a lubrication film formed on the plating layer, which has a friction coefficient of 0.15 or less, and contains a soluble resin and an agent of imparting a lubrication function in an amount of 1 to 30 mass% with respect to the soluble resin.
