Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a surface-treated steel plate excellent in processed part blackening resistance, film adhesion and corrosion resistance.

CONSTITUTION: A (meth)acrylic/styrene copolymer containing a styrene component in a mol ratio of 10-40% and containing one or both of silica and a silica sol and a silane coupling agent so that the total sum of Si is 5-25% by wt. of the copolymer or a mixture obtained by adding 1-25 pts.wt. of a lubricant to 100 pts.wt. of the copolymer is applied to the surface of a plated steel plate to form a film.
