Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a surface treated steel sheet safe and harmless in the producing process and in the case of being used and capable of obtaining excellent corrosion resistance as well.
SOLUTION: The surface of a galvanized steel sheet or an aluminum plated steel sheet is provided with a multiple oxide film contg. (α) silicon components of 0.010 to 3000 mg/m2 by the amt. expressed in terms of SiO2, (β) Mg components and/or Ca components by the total of the amt. expressed in terms of Mg and the amt. expressed in terms of Ca and (γ) phosphoric acid and/or phosphoric compd. by 0.010 to 3000 mg/m2 by the amt. expressed in terms of P2O5, and in which the total of the coating weight of the components (α), (β) and (γ) is 1.0 to 5000 mg/m2.
