Abstract:

To obtain a chromium-free surface treated steel sheet exhibiting excellent corrosion resistance and scratch resistance.

As a first layer film, an organic-inorganic composite layer in which the surface layer of a plating film is made inactive by a surface treatment composition containing a water base resin, a phosphoric compound and a silane coupling agent is formed as a second layer film, an organic film combining firm adhesion and lubricity in between the first layer film is formed by a coating material film composition containing a water soluble or water dispersible urethane modified resin, a curing agent, silica and wax in specified ratios, and, by the two layer film structure, excellent corrosion resistance and scratch resistance are realized.
