Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent processability and corrosion resistance at a processed part, in a hot-dip Al-Zn plated steel sheet whose plated film contains Al in an amount of 20 to 95 mass %.
SOLUTION: The plated film is obtained through at least following heat histories (a) and (b), and the surface of the plated film is subjected to chromate treatment to form a chemical conversion film containing a prescribed amount of Cr. The heat history (a) is such that the steel plate is cooled at an average cooling speed of 11°C/s immediately after being discharged from a hot-dip plating bath. The heat history (b) is such that after hot-dip plated metal has solidified, the steel plate is heated to a temperature T(°C) in the range from 130 to 300°C and then cooled from the temperature T(°C) to 100°C at an average cooling speed of not more than a cooling speed C(°C/hr) given by following formula: C=(T-100)/2, or/and the heat history (b) is such that after hot-dip plated metal has solidified, the steel plate is cooled from a temperature T(°C) in the range of 130 to 300°C to 100°C at an average cooling speed of not more than a cooling speed C(°C/hr) given by the formula mentioned above.
