Abstract:
To provide a surface treating agent capable of easily performing ink repellent treatment on a substrate so that a fine pattern film can be drawn even by a printing method such as an inkjet method.
The surface treating agent for imparting ink repellent properties to the substrate includes a copolymer having a constituent derived from a compound (a) represented by general formula (1) and a constituent derived from a radically polymerizable monomer (b) having a hydrophilic group, and a solvent (e).
