Abstract:

To manufacture a support having a small stain and a favorable printing performance at low cost under the condition that the wear of a brush is suppressed by a method wherein a sand dressing is performed with a sand brush, the hair material density of which lies within a specified range at the foot part of hairs.

Each sanding brush 3, the hair material density of which is 40-80% at the root part of hairs, is employed. The hair material is planted to a metal channel and then fixed to a base roller or a base plate. If the hair material density is 20-40% at the root part of hairs, the pressure applied to the hairs becomes high, resulting in quick wear of the hairs or of a brush. Further, during the brushing of an aluminum support, locally un-rubbed portions are present and locally deeper recessed parts are formed due to local stronger rubbing. If the hair material density is 85% or more, at the rubbing of the aluminum support with the sanding brush, scratches with the hair material of the brush develop due to the hindrance of the entry of abrasive material. The preferable value of the hair material density of the sanding brush is 40-80% at the root parts of hairs, more preferable one is 45-65% at the root part of hairs.
