Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treating method and device for a bobbin to enable yarn delivery easily even in an imperfect state where the yarn end of the bobbin (package) is not present on a yarn layer.
SOLUTION: Sucking of a suction nozzle 8 arranged near the outer circumference of a bobbin is started while turning a bobbin P on a bobbin holder 1 and simultaneously compressed air is blown from an injection nozzle 6 to he surface of the bobbin P in the direction opposite to that of rotation or a brush is guided to make rubbing pass to peel off the yarn streak on the bunch winding part on the surface layer of the bobbin P in a loop shape. This peeled-off yarn streak YL is sucked in the suction nozzle 8 and at least two yarn streaks including a yarn streak Ya drawn out from a bunch winding part apparently and a yarn streak Yb extending from the bobbin end part of the bobbin are placed in their retreating state and yarn streaks other than Ya out of these yarn streaks are cut and also the yarn streaks on the bunch winding part are peeled off.
