Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment jig which shortens a time necessary for surface treatment, and can efficiently perform the surface treatment, and a manufacturing method of a wheel bearing device.SOLUTION: A surface treatment jig 20 is used for applying surface treatment to an outer ring 11 and a hub ring 12 constituting a wheel bearing device, and comprises a jig member 21 for positioning the outer ring 11 and the hub ring 12 in a relative arrangement similar to the case for assembling the wheel bearing device. A manufacturing method of the wheel bearing device 10 includes a process for positioning the outer ring 11 and the hub ring 12 in a relative arrangement similar to the case for assembling the wheel bearing device by using the surface treatment jig 20, and a membrane formation process for forming membranes on the outer ring 11 and the hub ring 12 which are positioned in the arrangement by the surface treatment jig.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
