To provide a surface treatment metal having a coating layer which contains an inorganic and organic complex as a principal component and an additive and which satisfies a heat resistance and a corrosion resistance at high levels, respectively, and alternatively to provide a method of manufacturing this surface treatment metal and a surface treatment liquid used for the method.
In the surface treatment metal having the coating layer at least in the part of the surface of a base material, the coating layer contains a siloxane bond as a main skeleton, and contains a thin film shape additive and a fibrous shape or a whisker shape additive in a crosslinking film containing at least one kind of organic group selected from the group consisting of a 1-12C alkyl group, a 6-12C aryl group, a carboxyl group, an amino group or a hydroxyl group in a side chain.
