Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a uniform film by bonding a liquid forming a film to the surface of a metal strip to spray overheated steam thereto.
CONSTITUTION: A film is provided to the surface of a metal strip and the thickness thereof is controlled by an air linger method. In this case, as a fluid used in air throttling, overheated steam having much sensible heat is used. The overheating degree of steam is proportional to a line speed and the thickness of the metal strip and overheated steam of about 160°C is used in such a case that a line speed is 200m/min less and the thickness of the metal strip is about 2-3mm or less. By this method, installation cost is lowered and a noise problem is solved.
