Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of applying an electrochemical surface treatment only on a part of a metallic subject W to be treated while reducing an amount used of a surface treatment liquid 2.SOLUTION: According to a surface treatment method of the present invention, when by using a surface treatment apparatus 1 that holds a metallic subject W to be treated formed into a cylindrical shape or a disc-like shape on an apex side and is provided with a revolution shaft 6 that freely rotates about the revolution shaft, an electrochemical surface treatment is applied to a part of an outer peripheral side of the subject W to be treated while imparting electric power to the subject W to be treated held on the apex side of the revolution shaft 6, on an intermediate side or a base end side of the revolution shaft 6, an oscillation mechanism 10 that oscillates the apex side of the revolution shaft in a vertical direction to the base end side is provided, and a surface treatment tank 9 accommodating the surface treatment liquid 2 that applies a surface treatment on the subject W to be treated is provided on a lower side of the revolution shaft 6, while oscillating the revolution shaft 6 in a tilt-down posture in which the apex end side of the revolution shaft 6 is located on a lower side than the base end side, the revolution shaft 6 is revolved to apply an electrochemical surface treatment on a part on an outer peripheral side of the subject W to be treated with the surface treatment liquid 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
