Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surfactant capable of being formed into an aqueous solution having a low viscosity, even with a high concentration, and therefore capable of being extremely improved in its workability.
SOLUTION: This surfactant contains (A) a sucrose fatty acid ester having a fatty acid with carbon atoms of 8-14 and/or a polyglycerol fatty acid ester and (B) a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester having a fatty acid with carbon atoms of ≥16. A sucrose fatty acid ester, a glycerin fatty acid ester or a sorbitan fatty acid ester is preferably used as the polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester (B). The components (A) and (B) are preferably contained in a weight ratio satisfying the formula: (A):(B)=0.1:99.9 to 50:50.
