The surgical retractor 1 for securing an operational field by expanding the incision opening is provided with: a main body support part 2 extending long; a pressing part 3 which extends in a direction crossing the length direction D of the main body support part 2 with the main body support part 2 as a starting point; and a claw part 7 provided at the tip of the pressing part 3. The claw part 7 is made to face the length direction H of the pressing part 3.
