Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly house a surplus secured nearby an optical connector which terminates an optical fiber and to simplify surplus processing regarding a connection between optical fibers.
SOLUTION: This case is provided with a thin plate type case main body 71 in which the surplus 23a secured nearby the optical connector 25 which terminates the tip of an optical fiber 23 so that an abutting connection can be made can be curved and housed and an engagement part 27a which secures the radius of curvature of the surplus 23a above a prescribed radius by engaging the surplus 23a in the case main body 71, and the surplus 23a housed in the case main body 71 functions as lead-out surplus to draw out the optical connector 25.
