Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whirl-stop structure for a lock-up clutch piston that can make a torque converter cover hardly interfere with a drive source in connecting to the drive source and is advantageous in cost aspect.SOLUTION: The whirl-stop structure S includes: a piston 54; and a BU plate 56. The piston 54 includes comb-teeth 54a on an outer side relative to a cylindrical shaft part 12 to which the piston 54 is provided, in a radial direction of a torque converter TC. The BU plate 56 includes an engagement part 56a engaging with the comb-teeth 54a and provided so as to co-rotate with the cover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
