Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor camera capable of imaging a dead angle zone, and a control method therefor.SOLUTION: The monitor camera includes: a main body with a wide-view camera and a tele-view camera capable of imaging ahead; and a sub-body 200 having a protruding overall view camera on one side of the main body in a state freely rotatable to all directions and being capable of freely changing an imaging region. A video image imaged by the overall view camera is transmitted to a multiplexer (MUX) of the main body. A central processing unit (CPU) of the main body controls the multiplexer to selectively output a video signal imaged by each camera by a picture in picture (PIP) method.
