Abstract:
To provide a survivin-analog polypeptide and its DNA.
The present invention provides a human-derived polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence same or essentially same as a specific amino acid sequence, an amide, ester or salt of the polypeptide, a DNA containing a DNA encoding the polypeptide, a recombinant vector containing the DNA, a transformant transformed by the recombinant vector, etc. The invention is useful e.g. as a material for the screening of a compound effective for inhibiting the caspase-inhibiting activity and useful as a carcinostatic agent or a salt of the compound.
