Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable uniform and high-density suspended cell culture in a culture vessel by using a micro-carrier having specified particle diameter.
CONSTITUTION: Suspended cell culture is carried out by using a micro-carrier having particle diameter of ≤80μm, preferably 20-50μm. It is preferable from the viewpoint of hydrophilic nature, strength, chemical modification, etc., that the micro-carrier is fine particles of a polymer produced by using tris(α- methacryloyloxyethyl)phosphoric acid as the polymerization component.
