To provide a recovery device of a heavy oil floating on the sea or on a lake, which has a simple structure, can be prepared a large number on an emergency condition, can recover by collecting suspended matter from a wide water surface, and can recover the suspended matter effectively even in a rough sea.
A housing tank 1, an inflow opening 4 communicating with the inside of the housing tank, and a drainage pump 21 having its suction port at the bottom of the housing tank 1, are provided, the housing tank 1 has a horizontal cylindrical form at least in its underwater part, the inflow opening 4 is opened to one side end plate 2 of the housing tank 1, stabilizing floats 33 provided on the outer peripheral side surfaces of the housing tank, and water supply pipes 37 extending from both sides of the inflow opening 4, are provided, and an ejection nozzle directed to inside upward and to the inflow opening side is provided in each water supply pipe 37. The inward flow generated by the water from the ejection nozzles 38 collects the suspended matter in a wide scope. The housing tank 1 whose underwater part is made into a cylindrical form does not change its draft when it is tilted, and even when it is tilted, it is restored rapidly.
