Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate a need for forming a road foundation, and ensure an easy execution by lowering a tension member with one end thereof fixed to a natural ground, and fixing the tension member to the valley side end of a road member for the suspension thereof.

CONSTITUTION: Foundations 1 and 3 are formed at suitable intervals on a natural ground. A strut 2 is constructed on the foundation 1 and extended to the side of a valley. Also, a drilled hole 5 is formed on a natural ground above the foundation 1, and one end of a tension member 6 is inserted and fixed therein, while the other end thereof is lowered. A columnar girder 7 as a road member 4 is fixed to and suspended from the lower end of the tension member 6, and the mountain side end of the girder 7 is supported with the foundation 3. Furthermore, a precast concrete slab 8 is laid between the adjacent girders 7 and 7.
