To simplify a nut mounting/demounting work though the nut can be held in an undroppable state, with respect to a suspender capable of keeping a suspending bolt in a vertical attitude even when an application face of a structure is inclined with respect to evenness.
This suspender 1 comprises an upper suspending member 11 and a lower suspending member 21. Each suspending member is formed by bending a metallic plate into the U-shape composed of a sheet of body part 12 (22) and two sheets of side plate parts 13, 13 (23, 23). The side plate parts 13, 23 opened toward a mating side and relatively rotatably overlapped to each other of the upper and lower suspending members 11, 21 are connected with each other through a pin 10. A mounting hole 14 is penetrated through the upper body part 12, and a through hole 25 is formed on the lower main body part 22. The hexagonal nut 3 is mounted on an inner face of the lower body part 22. The lower suspending member 21 is provided with a plurality of side slip-off control pieces 27 and at least one upward slip-off control piece 26.
