A suspending method is used for carrying a folding type cellular telephone by the strap for the cellular telephone. The strap fitted to the main body of the folding type cellular telephone is put on one wrist of a carrier, and the main body of the telephone is carried with the palm of the hand. A hand type suspender for the cellular telephone of which the fitting pieces provided at the opposite ends of the strap are fitted to the main body of the telephone through the intermediary of an implement for fitting and removing the cellular telephone and which is made fittable and removable.
