Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast raw material suspending method and apparatus capable of suspending out even cast raw materials of multiple kinds reliably without dropping the raw materials.SOLUTION: A clamp device 9 having pins 7 and 8 capable of pulling out and in from both a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction relative to a casting mold from above a casting mold 10 filled with a molten metal and transferred is lowered to select the operation side of the pins to be inserted in and out and the insertion height of the pins on the basis of the preset production information of the casting material, and the pins are inserted into the insertion positions different for the individual cast raw materials. After this, the clamp device 9 is raised to suspend a casting material 2 from the casting mold 10, and is placed on a cooling palette 16 for a next step.
