To provide a suspended structure of a panel member which can enhance the safety of operations, reduce on-site construction period, and reduce the cost of construction work.
This suspended structure includes a thick panel member 25, a frame member 62 provided on each side of the panel member 25 and having a recess formed in its back, and a suspension member 70 which has a projecting part 70c formed at its lower end that fits into the recess 62c and which is connected at its upper end to the lower end of a long member hanging down from an upper beam part. The panel member 25 provided with the frame member 62 on each side is shop-fabricated, and operations are finished on the ground at a construction site simply by fitting the projection 70c formed at the lower end of the suspension member 70 into the recess 62c formed in the back of the frame 62, and then hanging the upper end of the suspension member 70 down to the lower end of the long member hanging down from the upper beam part, without the need for performing the work of assembling the connecting element members together at high altitudes.
