Abstract:

Polymer particles prepared from the aqueous suspension polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers or comonomers have controlled particle size and high particle porosity when a cosuspending aid system comprising an effective amount of a water-soluble cellulose ether and an effective amount of water-insoluble, organic-soluble cellulose ether is added to the aqueous phase suitable for the polymerization process.
