Title:
SUSPENSION ARM ATTACHING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000062425
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce a work space necessary for wheel alignment adjusting work and to increase workability.

This attaching structure is constructed in such a manner that wheel alignment is adjusted by connecting the attaching end 2 of a suspension arm to a car body 4 by a bolt 11 and a nut 12, and displacing the bolt 11 in a direction orthogonal to an axis by rotating a pair of plate cams 15 and 19 disposed in both ends of the bolt 11. In this case, a cylindrical collar 13 is fitted over the shaft part 11b of the bolt 11, one plate cam 15 and the engaging part 16 of a rotary tool are provided not to be mutually rotated in one end side of the cylindrical collar 13, and an engaging part 17 for preventing mutual rotation with the other plate cam 19 is formed in the other end side of the cylindrical collar 13. Thus, since the bolt and the plate cam are mutually rotatable, fastening by the head part of the bolt is performed. Then, by disposing the rotary tool for performing wheel alignment adjustment in the bolt head side, the wheel alignment adjustment and the fastening are carried out in the same side.
