To provide a suspension arm base material for machining, improving the material characteristics at a portion as a freely combining part, and a method for stably and easily producing this base material and a producing system used for this.
In the method for producing the suspension arm base material for machining, used for producing the suspension arm having the freely combining part fitting the other member to at least one end of the arm part, this producing method is peculiarly contained with a process, in which a closed mold constituting a part of the inner surface of the mold with the end face of an opening/closing plug arranged in a pouring spout and also, constituting a part with a cooling member, is used and a solidified shell is formed by cooling the molten metal filled from the pouring spout with the cooling member, and a process, in which the cooling member at the position containing the portion as the freely combining part, is opened at the priority after machining and coolant is brought into direct contact with the cooling member and a cast block is obtained by further forcibly cooling and solidifying.
