Abstract:
To provide a suspension arm which can improve durability performance.SOLUTION: A lower arm 14 includes an arm body 20, a reinforcement member 30, and a resin molding part 40. The arm body 20 is composed of a metal material. The arm body 20 has a bottom wall 21, a pair of side walls 22 which project from both side edges of the bottom wall 21 and extend in an opposite manner, and a pair of flanges 23 projecting in a direction in which the pair of side walls 22 are separated from each end of the pair of side walls 22. The reinforcement member 30 is composed of a metal material. The reinforcement member 30 is welded to each of the flanges 23 in such a manner as to connect the pair of flanges 23. The resin molding part 40 is molded by a resin material by using the arm body 20 and the reinforcement member 30 as insert products. The resin molding part 40 has such a shape as to cover a weld part WP where the flange 23 and the reinforcement member 30 are welded to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
