Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the weight under springs without causing problems, such as the occurrence of a crack in a swing arm and the like.
SOLUTION: The swing arm comprises a swing arm body 6 provided with a supporting part for a suspension damper 14, a support member 7 fixed to the rear of the swing arm body 6 and are provided with a supporting part 18 for suspension arms 3 to 5 and the like, and a support reinforcement member 8 for reinforcing at least the supporting part for the suspension arms 4, 5. The swing arm body 6, support member 7 and support reinforcement member 8 is each made of a press-molded steel plate, each of which is joined together to constitute the swing arm 2.
