To advantageously reduce the whole length of a rail and secure the traveling performance of hanger carriers in a suspension carrier device having the hanger carriers and traveling rails.

This carrier device is so constituted that guide rails are vertically arranged into a double row and two stages or more, hanger carriers 13 stored in the upper rail 11 are so arranged as avoiding the lower rail 12, and the upper carriers 13 and lower carriers 14 are alternately arranged in the advancing direction. In the guide rails 11, 12, rail connecting parts are connected together by welding or by a connecting jig formed by mechanical finishing.
