In a camera 102 fixed to a high part in an automobile compartment, a peripheral signal 211 based on peripheral information of an automobile is transmitted to a signal processor 201. In the signal processor 201, from the peripheral signal 211 and the other peripheral signal obtained from a transmitter 106, receiver 107 and a temperature sensor 108, information 212 of road surface or the like is obtained. The information 212 is transmitted to an arithmetic device 202, a spring displacement distance of an active suspension 205 and a first control signal 213 adjusting a spring constant are obtained. In a suspension control mechanism 203, based on a signal from a speed sensor 206 and a measurement sensor 207 measuring a steering angle, a second control signal adjusting each active suspension 205 is output.
