Abstract:

To improve turning performance in a vehicle with a small tread in comparison with a vehicle height.

A control type suspension structure is constituted by enabling lifting up and down of a mounting point 52 for mounting a lower link 5 on a vehicle body 1. When the control type suspension structure is adopted for front wheels, a roll center 7F is set lower than the ground surface in a vehicle stopping condition, and the mounting point 52 of the lower link 5 is lifted up and down according to a turning direction of the vehicle, and thereby, the roll center 7F is moved to outside of the turning in circular run. Meanwhile, when the control type suspension structure is adopted for rear wheels, the roll center 7R is set higher than the ground surface in the vehicle stopping condition, and the mounting point 52 of the lower link 5 is lifted up and down according to the turning direction of the vehicle, and thereby, the roll center 7R is moved to inside of the turning in the circular run.
