Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a suspension conveyor system simplified in structural configuration and being reliable in function.
CONSTITUTION: This suspension conveyor system 1 includes a conveying means 3 advancing along a track rail 2 with straight track sections, curves and/or switches. The conveying means 3 includes a bearing member 11 having a support member for the articles to be conveyed, and at least two casters 12a, 12b. The track rail 2 has a running track 7 along which the casters 12a, 12b advance. The bearing member 11 of the conveying means 3 extends into a plane of symmetry 13 and the casters 12a, 12b project outward from both sides of the bearing member 11. The plane of symmetry 13 is maintained approximately perpendicularly by a support means provided between the conveying means 3 and the track rail 2. The conveying means 3 travels always along one running track 7.
