PURPOSE: To provide a crawler belt type vehicle capable of improving driving stability in the case of straight advance running at a high speed and capable of improving runnability to cover the soft ground of muddy road, snowy road, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A swing beam 61, with a lengthwise direction intermediate part serving as the swiveling center, is mounted on a rear part of a body 4 through a rear suspension 10, to rotatably mount an idling wheel 7 with tire and a drive wheel 6 with tire in the front/rear of the swing beam 61, and a crawler belt 8 is linked to these idling wheel and drive wheel, to provide a front wheel 5 with tire in a front part of the body 4. In a suspension for a crawler belt type vehicle, a distance A from the swiveling center O of the swing beam 61 to the center of rotation of the idling wheel 7 is set longer than a distance B from the swiveling center O to the center of rotation R of the drive wheel 6.
