Abstract:
PURPOSE:To restrain the fluctuation of wheel base by constituting the arm length of a suspension arm projected to the outside of the wheel base so as to be adjustable and rotating thereby a wheel with center at the connecting end on the wheel side of the arm for adjusting toe-in. CONSTITUTION:A lower control arm 21 is formed into the 'H' shape expanding toward the car body side 22. And each of two arms 24 and 25 projecting toward the wheel side 23 is arranged to the back and forth direction of a car body respectively, thereby forming each of connecting ends 26 and 27 for knuckle arms supporting wheels at the tip ends thereof. While, each of connecting ends 30 and 31 for the car body is formed respectively at each tip end of two arms 28 and 29 projecting to the car body side 22. In this case, the arm 24 positioned in front of the car body side 22 is inserted into an arm main body 21a so as to be fixed on the arm main body 21a by means of an adjusting mechanism 32. The adjusting mechanism 32 is herein constituted so as to adjust the length L of a portion projected from the arm main body 21a of the arm 24 by means of the rotation of a cam 33.
