Abstract:
To provide a suspension device for an electric vehicle capable of enhancing reliability further, while reducing the weight.SOLUTION: A suspension device for an electric vehicle includes: a pair of saddles that are connected to elastic bodies for suspending a vehicle body of a vehicle, and that partly accommodate a pair of drive shafts respectively in an internal space; and an axle beam 31 formed as a tabular integral forging in which axle ends 34L, 34R joined to the saddles, extension parts 33L, 33R extending from the axle ends 34L, 34R to a vehicle rearward inner side, and a coupling part 32 for coupling the extension parts 33L, 33R have a prescribed width. The coupling part 32 of the axle beam 31 comprises: a thin part 32a extending in a vehicle width direction, and having a width smaller than the prescribed width; an upper coupling part 32b located above the thin part 32a in a vehicle height direction; and a lower coupling part 32c located below the thin part 32a in the vehicle height direction. A width of the upper coupling part 32b in the vehicle height direction is smaller than a width of the lower coupling part 32c in the vehicle height direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
