Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a progressive shock absorbing property, by disposing a spring independently of a shock absorber in a rear suspension unit of a snow mobile. CONSTITUTION:A rear suspension unit 13 comprises a scissor-like link composed of a pair of links 31, 32, a shock absorber 30 and a spring 33 and the spring 33 is disposed independently of the shock absorber 30 apart from it. A bearing portion 38 integral with the link 32 has two brackets 41a, 41b fixed thereto and a link 42 is pivotally secured by a slide rail 11. The shock absorber 30 is interposed between the bracket 41a and a link 42 and a link 43 is interposed between the other bracket 41b and the link 42.
