The arrangement includes a sprung side unit and an unsprung side unit which constitute the shock absorber 30 of electromagnetic type and a coupling device 60 to couple one of the sprung part 18 and the unsprung part 16 with one of the sprung side unit and the unsprung side unit, wherein the coupling device 60 is configured so that the mentioned one-side unit is supported resiliently on the mentioned part 18/16 by coupling together through a resilient piece of rubber 74 an outer cylinder 70 and an inner shaft 72 to be coupled with the part 18/16 and the one-side unit, respectively, and that a resisting force against the relative movement between the part 18/16 and the one-side unit in the vertical direction is generated by allowing a communication passage 96 to restrict the flow of a working liquid between two liquid chambers 92 and 94 resulting from a relative movement of the outer cylinder 70 and the inner shaft 72 in between in the axial direction.
