Abstract:
PURPOSE:To give a good ride and improve a traveling stability in a steering wheel suspension device having front and rear lateral links by setting the spring constant of a body side linking elastic means on the rear side lateral link larger than that on the front side lateral link. CONSTITUTION:A wheel supporting member 4 is linked to and supported by a vehicle body by means of an upper arm 6 and a lower arm 8. The upper arm 6 is formed with a front side lateral link 10 and a rear side lateral link 12 and their vehicle body sides are elastically displaceably linked to the vehicle body by means of rubber bushes. The spring constants of the rubber bushes are set in such a way that the rubber bush of the front side lateral link 10 is larger than that of the rear side lateral link 12. By this structure, a good ride can be given while improving a traveling stability.
