To provide a suspension device capable of performing a vehicle height adjustment by selecting an optimum one, of a pneumatic shock absorber and a gas spring.
This suspension device S is provided with the gas spring A interposed between a vehicle body and an axle to elastically support the vehicle body and the pneumatic shock absorber D interposed between the vehicle body and the axle in parallel with the gas spring A to damp relative vibration of the vehicle body and the axle, and a supply and discharge means C for supplying and discharging gas to the gas spring A and the pneumatic shock absorber D. In the suspension device, one of the gas spring A and the pneumatic shock absorber D is selected based on a gas temperature T in the pneumatic shock absorber D, and the vehicle height adjustment is performed by supplying and discharging gas to the selected one.
